Before joining Primary Eye Care Center in 1995, Dr. Correale worked at a large ophthalmology practice in the Houston area, where she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal diseases. She also worked closely with Dr. Wineinger for seven years prior to his retirement in January 2002.
In 2001, Dr. Correale expanded her licensure to become a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, allowing her to diagnose and treat glaucoma in addition to a wide range of other ocular diseases and injuries. She became board-certified by the American Board of Optometry in 2011.
With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Correale is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, always placing her patients' vision and ocular health as her highest priority. She has proudly served families in Alvin and the surrounding areas for decades, often caring for multiple generations—from a child’s first eye exam to later seeing their children and grandchildren.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Correale is committed to community service. Since 1998, she has been a member of the Alvin Lions Club, where she helps provide vision care and eyeglasses to families in need. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association.
